Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the YAF spokesperson, confirmed that the operation targeted the US destroyer and three supply ships: Stena Impeccable, Maersk Saratoga, and Liberty Grace. The operation, carried out by missile and drone forces, involved 16 ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and one drone, achieving precise hits on the targets.

General Saree described the operation as a "top-tier military mission" and warned of continued escalations until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and aggression against Palestine ceases.

The YAF emphasized its commitment to intensifying naval operations against what it described as "Israeli and American enemies" within the declared operational area, reaffirming its solidarity with the Palestinian cause and Resistance.

In a related development, the Yemeni missile forces executed an earlier operation targeting a strategic location in the occupied Yafa region with a hypersonic missile of the Palestine 2 type. General Saree confirmed the mission's success, highlighting its significance in Yemen’s broader military response.

This escalation underscores the Yemeni Armed Forces' alignment with regional movements opposing Israeli and Western actions, amid heightened tensions in the Middle East. (ILKHA)
