The statement, issued on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, urged massive demonstrations in cities and capitals worldwide from November 29 through December 1.

Hamas praised international efforts to support the Palestinian cause and denounced what it termed as "genocide and aggression" by Israeli forces in Gaza over the past 419 days. It claimed that Israel has destroyed essential infrastructure, leaving over two million Palestinians in dire humanitarian conditions.

The movement urged the United Nations and global institutions to take decisive action to halt the violence and address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi commended resistance efforts in the Jenin refugee camp, the city of Jenin, and the town of Qabatiya. He highlighted the resilience of Palestinians facing repeated Israeli military incursions.

“The daily raids by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank will only strengthen our people's resolve to resist,” Mardawi said. He called for increased confrontations in the West Bank to counter Israel's settlement and displacement policies.

The announcement comes amid heightened tensions and widespread international calls for a ceasefire as the humanitarian toll in Gaza continues to mount. Hamas emphasized the importance of collective action to stop the conflict and support the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
