The gathering brought together representatives from political parties, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and members of the public for a spiritually enriching program focused on the lives of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Yusuf Yalçınkaya, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. Ayhan Inan served as the event’s host, and Eyüp Durmaz, a board member of the Ankara Prophet Lovers Association, delivered the opening speech.

Durmaz expressed the association’s commitment to promoting the values of the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings and fostering awareness about the lives of the Companions.

The program featured hymns performed by the Ankara Prophet Lovers Hymn Group, creating an atmosphere of devotion and unity.

Ömer Çelik, President of the Martyrs Caravan Platform, delivered a keynote address, presenting moving excerpts from the lives of Companions such as Said ibn Zayd (Radiyallahu Anhu) and Umm Gulsum (Radiyallahu Anha). Çelik also used the platform to highlight the ongoing struggles and injustices faced by Palestinians, underscoring the need for solidarity and action in addressing their plight.

The event concluded with a slide show prepared by the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation, offering a visually engaging narrative that reinforced the evening’s themes of faith and resilience.

At the entrance to the hall, a charity bazaar was organized by the Prophet’s Lovers Association, providing attendees an opportunity to contribute to charitable causes while engaging with the community.

The “Stars Enlightening Our Path” event served as a reminder of the enduring relevance of the lives of the Companions, inspiring attendees to embody their virtues in daily life. It also highlighted the intersection of faith with contemporary issues, fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards those facing oppression, particularly in Palestine.

This gathering not only celebrated the spiritual heritage of Islam but also emphasized the importance of unity, advocacy, and compassion in addressing global challenges. (ILKHA)
