This initiative, which rotates through different provinces each week, has been met with overwhelming support from local communities.

Operating with a one-year permission from authorized institutions, the Orphans Foundation leverages the dedication of its volunteers to drive this charity race. The foundation's activities are diverse, ranging from charity bazaars to aid stands, all aimed at collecting donations for Gaza.

This week, the spotlight was on Gümüşhane, where the Orphans Foundation opened a charity bazaar in Fatih Park, adjacent to the Gümüşhane Municipality. Starting on November 19th, the bazaar attracted significant interest from the local populace. Stands offering a variety of items, from souvenirs to food and drinks, were set up, with all proceeds earmarked for Gaza. Piggy banks were also placed at the stands for those wishing to make additional donations.

Ömer Arslan, the representative of the Orphans Foundation in Gümüşhane, expressed his gratitude for the community's support. In a written statement, Arslan noted that the charity bazaar lasted for two days but assured that similar activities would continue in the future. "All proceeds of the bazaar will be donated to Gaza. The participation of the people of Gümüşhane was commendable. Both aid volunteers and charity volunteers were exceptional," he said.

Arslan highlighted the dire situation in Gaza, where a massacre has been ongoing for over 400 days. He pointed out that the most harrowing aspect of this crisis is the blockade on humanitarian aid. "The Zionist network is trying to persecute the Muslims in Gaza with hunger while massacring people. We, as the Orphans Foundation, are already continuing our work in Gaza. This charity bazaar supports our efforts to meet the humanitarian needs of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Gaza," Arslan explained.

He reassured those concerned about the delivery of aid, stating: "Alhamdulillah, our aids are reaching Gaza. No one should doubt this. We share all the aids we provide on social media and in the press. This bazaar allows people to help orphans and deprived children in Gaza and learn about our aid work."

The charity bazaar in Gümüşhane received visits from notable figures, including Governor Aydın Baruş, Mayor Vedat Soner Başer, and representatives from various NGOs operating in the city. Their presence underscored the importance of the initiative and the community's collective effort to support Gaza.

Arslan emphasized that Gaza is not a one-day issue but a continuous cause. "God willing, we will continue to help Gaza," he affirmed. The Orphans Foundation's commitment to this cause is unwavering, and their efforts serve as a beacon of hope and compassion in a world often marred by conflict and suffering.

As Türkiye rallies behind the Orphans Foundation's initiative, the message is clear: solidarity and compassion can transcend borders, bringing hope to those in desperate need. The charity mobilization for Gaza is a testament to the power of community and the enduring spirit of humanity. (ILKHA)
