Medical staff at the hospital report that the healthcare system in northern Gaza is nearing collapse, with widespread malnutrition and starvation impacting the local population. “Northern Gaza is under a systematic attack, and our healthcare system is failing,” stated hospital representatives. “We are losing people every day because we cannot provide the specialized care they need.”

Hospital officials highlighted the increasing toll on vulnerable groups, especially women and children. “Yesterday, reports came in of women and children trapped under rubble, and today we mourn them as martyrs. It is unbearable to witness this tragedy,” they said.

The hospital staff further criticized the lack of meaningful international intervention to address the escalating humanitarian crisis. Malnutrition, particularly among children, is becoming a pressing concern as food and essential medical supplies dwindle. “Even basic food items are scarce, and we are barely able to provide one meal a day for our hospital staff,” a medical source added, stressing that the stock of life-saving medical supplies is nearly depleted.

Kamal Adwan Hospital’s team has called for immediate global assistance and urged the lifting of the blockade on northern Gaza to facilitate the delivery of critical aid. “The health and rights of our people are under severe threat,” the hospital warned, emphasizing that many lives depend on swift action and the arrival of essential resources.
