The Israeli military reported these casualties amidst heightened confrontations in both Gaza and along the Lebanese border.

According to the military's latest update, clashes over the past 24 hours have left 21 Israeli soldiers injured, with 17 of those injuries occurring in southern Lebanon and the remaining four in Gaza.

The Izz al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for an attack targeting Israeli occupation forces. The Brigades reported that Palestinian fighters ambushed an Israeli D9 military bulldozer near Al-Fakhoura School in the Jabalia camp, deploying a Yasin 105 anti-tank rocket and detonating an anti-personnel bomb, which reportedly caused casualties among Israeli soldiers.

Since the resurgence of hostilities in October 2023, the Israeli occupation military has recorded approximately 780 soldier fatalities and 5,019 injuries. However, independent media sources suggest that the actual toll may be higher than official figures indicate.

As violence intensifies across multiple fronts, the conflict has continued to exact a heavy toll on both sides, fueling regional and international concern. (ILKHA)
