A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Garmsar early Sunday morning at 05:16 a.m. local time, according to the Iranian Seismological Center.

The tremor occurred at a depth of 11 kilometers, with its epicenter recorded at 52.38 degrees longitude and 35.28 degrees latitude.
