The decision came in response to an Israeli airstrike that targeted multiple locations across three Iranian provinces overnight.

Yazerlou’s statement followed hours of heightened activity as Israeli forces reportedly launched attacks on positions in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces. Iran’s air defense force confirmed it intercepted the aggression, successfully thwarting the attacks. Reports indicated that air defenses were activated across the affected regions to counter incoming aerial threats.

The cancellations come amid rising regional tensions, with Iranian authorities prioritizing safety and advising citizens to avoid unnecessary travel as they monitor the evolving situation. Further updates from Iranian officials are expected regarding flight operations and the overall security status. (ILKHA)
