The gathering aimed to offer prayers for the suffering Muslims in Gaza and Lebanon amidst the ongoing violence and occupation.

For over a year, Gaza has faced relentless assaults from the occupation regime, and recently, similar attacks have begun targeting neighboring countries, especially Lebanon. The violence has not abated, leading to widespread suffering and loss of life.

On a morning marked by hope and unity, the youth of Diyarbakır, along with other residents, flocked to the Grand Mosque at the call of the morning adhan. The mosque quickly filled with worshippers ready to join in communal prayers, performed in the historic courtyard of the Grand Mosque.

Following the morning prayer, the congregation dedicated their prayers to the blessed resistance efforts in Gaza and Lebanon, asking for strength and perseverance for those facing oppression. The atmosphere was one of profound collective empathy and unyielding support for the resistance against occupation.

As a gesture of communal solidarity and care, soup was served to the mosque congregation after the prayers, symbolizing the unity and resilience of the community in these trying times.

This meeting was a poignant reminder of the power of faith and community in standing against oppression and supporting those in need, highlighting the unbreakable bond among Muslims in their shared struggle for justice and peace. (ILKHA)
