Lebanon is also grappling with a growing displacement crisis. According to the latest report, 1,096 centers have been opened to shelter those displaced by the ongoing conflict, with 900 of these shelters already at full capacity. The National Operations Center has registered 190,882 displaced individuals, including 44,121 families, who are currently residing in official shelters.
The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as thousands of Lebanese and Syrians flee the violence. Between September 23 and October 17, 2024, Lebanon's General Security recorded the departure of 333,893 Syrian nationals and 132,074 Lebanese citizens across the border into Syria, seeking safety.
