The group stated that the operation was part of their ongoing support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and a response to Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

In a public statement, Hezbollah declared that the drone strike was conducted in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza, which has been under heavy Israeli bombardment. The group also referenced its "Khaybar" operations, an ongoing campaign of retaliation against Israeli attacks on Lebanese areas, including Beirut’s Al-Nuweiri and Al-Basta neighborhoods.

"In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out an operation launching attack drones on the Golani Brigade training camp in Binyamina," the statement read. Hezbollah affirmed that the attack was also a direct response to "massacres committed by the Zionist enemy."

The operation was reportedly carried out under the call of "Labbayka Ya Nasrallah" (At your service, O Nasrallah), a slogan symbolizing allegiance to Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Hezbollah’s statement emphasized their readiness to defend Lebanon and its people against further aggression and reiterated their determination to deter any future threats from Israel.

The group concluded by reaffirming their commitment to their resistance operations, stating: "The Islamic Resistance will remain ever-present and ready to defend our country and our proud, oppressed people. We will not hesitate to fulfill our duty in deterring the enemy."

There has been no immediate confirmation from Israeli authorities regarding the extent of the damage or casualties at the targeted Golani Brigade base. (ILKHA)
