The statement highlights that the majority of the arrests were concentrated in the Hebron governorate, with additional detentions reported in Jenin, Bethlehem, Nablus, Qalqilia, and Ramallah. Several former prisoners were among those detained during the raids, the organizations noted.

The joint statement also condemned the Israeli forces for their extensive use of violence and harassment during the raids, which frequently involve assaults on detainees and their families. Reports indicate that field interrogations and the destruction of Palestinian homes are common during these operations.

Since the escalation of violence in October 2023, more than 11,200 Palestinians have been detained in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, according to the PPS and the Commission of Detainees.

The organizations expressed serious concern over the ongoing human rights violations and called for urgent international intervention to address the deteriorating situation. (ILKHA)
