In the statement, the ministry condemned the post, calling it a "futile psychological operation" aimed at gaining attention and diverting public opinion. The ministry did not specify the contents of Cohen's post but firmly rejected the accusations made against Türkiye and its leadership.

"We look forward to seeing the Israeli Foreign Minister defend himself in court for his role in the genocide against Palestinians," the statement continued, alluding to Türkiye’s consistent stance against Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank.

Reaffirming its position, the ministry concluded: "Türkiye will continue to stand against Israel's oppressive policies and provide the strongest support to the Palestinians."

The diplomatic exchange highlights the ongoing tension between Ankara and Tel Aviv, particularly as conflict in the region escalates. (ILKHA)
