The missiles reportedly reached their targets, although Israeli occupation authorities have remained silent on the operation's outcomes.

Brigadier General Saree stated that the strike was carried out in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese people and as part of the broader regional resistance. He also praised Iran's Operation True Promise 2 against Israel and emphasized Yemen's readiness to participate in any joint military operations in support of the resistance efforts against the Israeli occupation.

Saree issued a warning to the United States and the United Kingdom, highlighting that their continued support for Israel makes their regional interests vulnerable to Yemeni retaliatory operations. He further stressed that the YAF would continue expanding military actions against Israel and its allies until the aggression on Gaza ends, the blockade is lifted, and hostilities against Lebanon are stopped.

The Quds-5 cruise missile is part of Yemen's long-range missile system, capable of traveling over 2,000 kilometers, according to a senior Yemeni military source. The missile boasts advanced stealth, maneuverability, and destructive power, designed to penetrate various air defenses in the region. The source noted that this is the latest generation of Yemeni missiles, following the Quds-3, and that more advanced operations are to be expected.

This missile strike follows a series of military operations carried out by the YAF's naval, missile, and UAV forces earlier this week. Brigadier General Saree detailed three significant operations targeting vessels in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean. The first operation struck the British oil tanker Cordelia Moon using a combination of ballistic and cruise missiles, drones, and an uncrewed surface boat, causing severe damage. The second and third operations targeted the Marathopolis tanker in the Indian Ocean for violating the maritime ban imposed by the YAF, also using cruise missiles and drones.

In addition, Saree confirmed that Yemeni UAV forces hit an Israeli military target in Eilat, using a Yafa-type drone, and attacked other military targets in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) with four Samad-4 drones. Both operations reportedly achieved their objectives with precision.

The escalating military actions from the Yemeni Armed Forces highlight their increasing capabilities and regional engagement as Israeli aggression in Gaza and broader tensions in the Middle East continue to intensify. (ILKHA)
