UN praises Afghanistan's progress, encourages cooperation

In a meeting with the Afghan chargé d'affaires, Fazl Mohammad Sabir, UN political advisor Andrei Larin praised the country's progress in implementing projects like the TAPI gas pipeline and other initiatives that bolster regional cooperation.

Larin stressed the importance of continued efforts to combat poppy cultivation, create jobs, and reduce corruption. He also emphasized the UN center's commitment to supporting Afghanistan and its neighboring countries.

Sabir, in turn, reaffirmed Afghanistan's dedication to economic development and strengthening ties with the international community. He highlighted the Islamic Emirate's achievements in recent years, including improved relations with neighboring countries. (ILKHA)
