The attacks caused significant damage to residential homes and buildings in several towns and villages.

According to Lebanon’s official news agency, over 80 airstrikes hit southern areas in just 30 minutes. Multiple fire belts were created across the Tyre and Nabatieh regions, while strikes also targeted Bint Jbeil, Zahrani, and the highlands of Iqlim al-Tuffah.

In the Bekaa region, at least nine sites along the western mountain range, including Bodai, Harbata, and Zboud, were heavily bombed. One person was killed and six others were injured in Bodai.

The intensification of Israeli aggression comes in the wake of a deadly Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburb last Friday, which claimed the lives of 51 people, including women, children, and high-ranking Hezbollah commanders, Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmed Wehbi.

In response, Hezbollah launched retaliatory attacks on Israeli military installations. On Sunday morning, Hezbollah fired dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 rockets at the Ramat David airbase in northern occupied Palestine. Additionally, Hezbollah targeted Israeli military-industrial complexes in Haifa, striking the Rafael company's sites with Fadi 1, Fadi 2, and Katyusha rockets.

The situation remains tense as Israeli forces continue their bombardment of various Lebanese areas, while Hezbollah vows further retaliation in support of Gaza and against Israeli actions in Lebanon. (ILKHA)
