Erdoğan and Albanian PM Rama hold talks in New York

According to a statement from the Turkish presidency, the leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Türkiye and Albania, alongside regional and global issues.

Erdoğan emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to develop ties between the two nations in various sectors. He also condemned the ongoing violence in the Palestinian territories, particularly Gaza, criticizing Israel's actions as a violation of human rights and international law.

"The massacres committed by Israel harm regional and global peace," Erdoğan said. He stressed the need for international unity in pressuring Israel to stop the violence, calling on world states to act collectively to achieve peace.

The meeting is part of Erdoğan's broader diplomatic engagements during the UN General Assembly, where global conflicts and partnerships are key topics of discussion. (ILKHA)
