Hezbollah's first operation targeted the Ramat David Airbase in northern Israel, striking it with multiple "Fadi 1" and "Fadi 2" rockets. This was followed by a second wave of rocket attacks on the same site. The Ramat David Airbase is a crucial military hub for Israel.

The third operation saw Hezbollah targeting the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems military-industrial complex in the Zvulun Valley, near Haifa. The facility, which specializes in electronic military equipment, was hit with a combination of "Fadi 1," "Fadi 2," and "Katyusha" rockets. The strikes reportedly occurred around 6:30 a.m.

In a statement, Hezbollah confirmed that these operations were conducted in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and as a direct response to the Israeli military’s actions in Lebanon earlier this week. The Israeli attacks had devastated Lebanese civilian areas on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hezbollah's rocket barrage from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel marked one of the deepest strikes into Israeli-occupied territories since the beginning of the ongoing conflict. Sirens sounded across a wide range of locations, from eastern Israel to northern areas near Jenin in the West Bank. Several of the areas affected were located as far as 60 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

Explosions were also reported near the Ramat David Airbase. According to Israeli military sources, Hezbollah launched 15 long-range rockets, with each shell carrying a 175 kg explosive warhead. Israeli media reported that air defenses intercepted only eight of the 15 rockets.

This latest escalation follows Hezbollah's increased involvement in the conflict, with rocket attacks continuing to target Israeli military positions in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza. (ILKHA)
