In a press statement, Chaiban highlighted the devastating loss of over 14,000 children in the enclave since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, with displaced individuals now totaling 1.9 million. Chaiban pointed out a concerning decline in aid delivery, noting that the daily number of aid trucks has dropped dramatically from 100 in August to just 15 in September. This reduction has intensified the suffering of the civilian population.

Chaiban emphasized the critical need for a political solution that safeguards the rights and protections of children in the region, calling for immediate action to address the dire situation on the ground. (ILKHA)
