The trade sales volume index, based on 2021 figures, reflected a significant drop, with the wholesale and retail trade, as well as the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, declining by 10.8%. Wholesale trade sales volume also fell by 5.6% during the same period, the report noted.
On a monthly basis, trade sales volume decreased by 0.6% in July compared to June 2024. The wholesale and retail trade, alongside motor vehicle and motorcycle repair volumes, fell by 1.4%, while wholesale trade sales volume dropped by 1.0%. However, retail sales volume continued its upward trend, increasing by 0.8% compared to the previous month.
