In a statement released on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the WFP expressed concern that repeated Israeli evacuation orders are obstructing efforts to deliver aid to Gaza’s residents.

"The demand for food and essential supplies continues to rise, but Israeli-enforced displacements are impeding our ability to reach those in need," the WFP said.

Calling for an immediate ceasefire, the organization emphasized the necessity of halting the hostilities to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those most affected by the ongoing war.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has been exacerbated by the destruction of infrastructure and widespread displacement, leaving millions reliant on international aid for survival. (ILKHA)
