The girl, identified as Yaqin al-Asṭal, passed away due to malnutrition and dehydration in the midst of a severe shortage of essential supplies.

The dire situation in Gaza has been exacerbated by the ongoing Israeli offensive, which began on October 7, 2023.

The prolonged aggression has resulted in severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel, pushing the region to the brink of famine.

The humanitarian crisis continues to worsen as the conflict disrupts the delivery of aid and exacerbates the suffering of civilians in the war-torn area. (ILKHA)
