In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized its commitment to preventing the establishment of a terror corridor along Turkey's southern border. "We did not and will not allow the terror corridor to be created in our south. Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 8 PKK/YPG terrorists detected in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria," the statement read.

The Ministry also reiterated that Turkey's operations will persist until all terrorist threats in the area are eliminated. The Euphrates Shield operation, launched in 2016, aims to clear northern Syria of terrorist elements and secure the border region from further threats. (ILKHA)
