In Australia, the airline intends to either increase the frequency of its flights to Melbourne or add a new route to Sydney. This follows the successful launch of its Istanbul-Melbourne service in March, which operates three times per week via Singapore.

Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines is eyeing new routes to Santiago, Chile, and Lima, Peru, in Latin America. Additionally, the airline plans to start flying to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, following the recent liberalization of air travel between the two countries.

Currently, Turkish Airlines serves eight destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Bogota, Buenos Aires, Cancun, Caracas, Havana, Mexico City, Panama, and Sao Paulo. (ILKHA)
