In a joint statement, the two organizations detailed that the recent arrests involved a group of females from the city of Hebron, including students and former detainees. Those detained were taken from their homes, captured at military checkpoints, or surrendered under coercion by Israeli forces.

Since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip, over 10,000 Palestinians from the West Bank and al-Quds have been detained by Israeli occupation forces.

The latest arrests bring the total number of Palestinians detained in the last five days to 130, as part of a large-scale offensive by the Israeli army in the West Bank. The ongoing crackdown underscores the intensifying oppression against the Palestinian people, which, according to local sources, signals a dire need for international intervention.

The organizations warn that the continued escalation by Israeli forces could provoke a broader regional conflict while simultaneously attempting to break the resilience of the Palestinian resistance. (ILKHA)
