The regional governor, Aleksandr Bogomaz, announced that the Russian military identified and destroyed at least 26 drones in the Bryansk region, with no casualties or damage reported.

This comes after a previous attempt by a Ukrainian "reconnaissance-sabotage group" to infiltrate the Bryansk region on August 21, which has been under Ukrainian assault since August 6.

In Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that Russian forces neutralized five drones overnight. This followed what Sobyanin described as "one of the largest ever" drone attacks on the capital, during which 11 drones were reportedly destroyed. One drone was shot down near the Moscow Refinery (MNPZ), with no impact on the refinery's operations.

Russian forces also intercepted drones in the border regions of Belgorod and Voronezh, as well as in the Lipetsk and Ryazan regions. Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported minor damage to residential buildings and the destruction of a utility building in a private residence.

Additionally, in the western Oryol region, Governor Andrey Klychkov confirmed the interception of one drone. Earlier in the week, Ukrainian drones struck two fuel depots, causing fires in the Rostov and Kirov regions of southwest Russia. (ILKHA)
