According to Israeli media reports, one of the fighters entered the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur and opened fire, injuring several settlers before being shot dead. In a separate incident, an explosion occurred at a gas station in Karmei Tzur, reportedly caused by a car bomb.

Israeli news outlets reported that two car bombs were detonated in the Gush Etzion area, including an attempt by a Palestinian to carry out a car-ramming attack near Karmei Tzur. The commander of the Gush Etzion Brigade, along with a soldier and several settlers, were injured in these coordinated attacks.

The Israeli military and security services are investigating whether the incidents are linked and are searching for other potential suspects in the area.

The Palestinian groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad praised the attacks, referring to them as "heroic resistance operations." (ILKHA)
