This latest surge in violence has resulted in the deaths of 17 Palestinians and injuries to more than 30 others. The death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has now reached 667.

Intensified Operations in Tulkarm

In Tulkarm, Israeli forces expanded their operations to include both the Tulkarm camp and Nour Shams camp. The forces raided dozens of homes, subjecting many civilians to field interrogations. Nour Shams camp remains under siege, with all entrances closed, and the occupation forces continue to storm and search homes.

Besieged Jenin

In Jenin, the situation remains dire as Israeli forces maintain a siege on the city and its eastern neighborhood. Military reinforcements have been deployed to the area surrounding the Jenin camp, where violent clashes and intermittent explosions have been reported.

Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub described the situation as increasingly difficult. He noted that Israeli forces are destroying civilian vehicles and property, bulldozing streets and infrastructure, and raiding homes throughout the city and camp. Additionally, a number of residents have been forced to evacuate their homes, which have been converted into temporary military barracks.

The death toll in Jenin has risen to eight, with seven others injured, one critically. The occupation forces have also surrounded the Ibn Sina and Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospitals, further escalating the humanitarian crisis.

Hospital Under Siege

Wissam Bakr, Director of Jenin Hospital, stated that Israeli forces remain stationed at the hospital's entrances, with earthen barriers blocking access roads. Electricity remains cut off in large parts of Jenin, including the hospital, which is currently operating on generators. The hospital's water supply is also compromised, with staff relying on a tank that is now half empty.

Bakr added that the occupation forces are obstructing medical staff and patients, checking the personal identification cards of those entering and leaving the hospital.

Aggression in Tubas

In Tubas, Israeli forces have withdrawn from Al-Far'a camp after a 30-hour military operation that resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians, numerous arrests, and significant damage to homes and infrastructure. (ILKHA)
