The meeting, which will take place at Dolmabahçe Palace, marks a significant milestone in the project's implementation.

Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, announced the summit, highlighting the importance of the project in fostering regional cooperation and economic development. "The Development Road will diversify international trade routes and support the sustainability of global trade," Uraloğlu said. "Türkiye will reinforce its economic and strategic advantages by establishing an efficient and safe trade corridor between Asia and Europe."

The Development Road project aims to create a modern transportation network connecting the Middle East and Europe. It involves the construction of highways, railways, and other infrastructure facilities. Türkiye has been actively working to upgrade its transportation infrastructure to accommodate the increased traffic expected from the project.

Minister Uraloğlu provided details about the ongoing construction efforts in Türkiye, including the construction of a new highway between Şanlıurfa and Ovaköy and a high-speed train line between Halkalı and Kapıkule. Upon completion, these projects will significantly improve connectivity and reduce travel times.

The summit in Istanbul is expected to result in important decisions regarding the project's future, including timelines, funding, and operational plans. As the Development Road project progresses, it is anticipated to have a positive impact on the economies of the participating countries and contribute to regional stability. (ILKHA)
