The fatalities include women and children, with numerous others injured in the escalating violence.

The Director General of the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza confirmed that four citizens were killed and 18 others wounded in an Israeli strike on Salah al-Din School, which was sheltering displaced civilians.

The Civil Defense Society reported that seven civilians, including two children and five women, were killed in an Israeli attack on displacement tents in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis. Additionally, 13 more Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in airstrikes targeting various areas in Khan Yunis.

Six other Palestinians lost their lives in separate Israeli attacks on the eastern regions of Gaza, which targeted gatherings of citizens, residential homes, and agricultural lands.

Hamas condemned the airstrikes, particularly the attack on Salah al-Din School, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting unarmed civilians and committing war crimes. In a statement, Hamas urged the international community to take immediate action to halt the ongoing violence and hold Israel accountable for what it described as state-sponsored terrorism against the Palestinian people.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with continuous airstrikes exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and increasing the death toll. The international community is being called upon to intervene and bring an end to the conflict. (ILKHA)
