HÜDA PAR criticizes Turkish government's inaction on Gaza genocide

Yılmaz urged the Turkish government to abandon its hesitant stance and take immediate, concrete steps to support Gaza against the relentless Israeli aggression.

In a statement on X, Yılmaz did not mince words in his assessment of Türkiye's actions—or lack thereof—in response to the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza. He accused the government of failing to uphold its responsibilities toward both Gaza and Jerusalem, emphasizing that Türkiye's current approach is insufficient given the gravity of the situation.

"Türkiye has not fulfilled its duty towards Gaza and Jerusalem with its increasingly passive stance," Yılmaz declared, highlighting a perceived lack of urgency in Ankara's diplomatic and practical responses to the crisis. According to Yılmaz, the Turkish government's reliance on international powers like the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as its participation in what he described as "ineffective ceasefire efforts," has done little to halt the violence and devastation in Gaza. He criticized these efforts as being more symbolic than substantive, serving to distract from the ongoing genocide rather than to stop it.

Yılmaz pointed out that the burden on Gaza has become increasingly heavy, with the humanitarian situation deteriorating daily under the relentless Israeli attacks. He underscored the need for Türkiye to take a more active role in alleviating this burden, suggesting that mere words and diplomatic gestures are no longer sufficient. "The statements made by Foreign Minister Mr. Hakan Fidan in Egypt at the Rafah Border Crossing must be put into action," Yılmaz asserted, urging the government to translate its rhetoric into tangible support for the Palestinian cause.

Yılmaz also took aim at the broader international community, particularly the United States and the United Kingdom, which he accused of being complicit in the violence against Gaza. He argued that these nations are not neutral arbiters in the conflict but are instead active participants, providing Israel with the military and intelligence support necessary to carry out its operations. Yılmaz expressed particular disdain for Türkiye's continued reliance on these powers, describing it as "unreasonable" given their direct involvement in the conflict. "The United States is a direct party to this massacre. It provides the weapons, the bombs, the intelligence, and even bombs Gaza directly with its planes," he said.

Yılmaz also referred to a statement made by the Joint Operations Room of the Palestinian Resistance Movements, which reportedly provided evidence of the United Kingdom's direct involvement in the massacre. According to Yılmaz, the involvement of these imperialist powers in the conflict is a clear indication that their calls for ceasefires and negotiations are insincere and are merely tactics to give Israel time to regroup and continue its aggression. "What is expected now is not a ceasefire, but the United States protecting the cornered Zionists and easing the tension to relieve them," he stated, adding that Türkiye is fully aware of these tactics but has yet to take appropriate action.

In a pointed critique of domestic responses to the crisis, Yılmaz also condemned those within Türkiye who advocate for a cautious approach, arguing that their stance reflects both a lack of understanding of the issue and a lack of moral courage. "The claims by some so-called thinkers and intellectuals that 'we should stay away, we are the target' show both a lack of understanding of the issue and a lack of conscience," Yılmaz said. He stressed that the real targets of the ongoing violence are Palestine, Jerusalem, Gaza, and Al-Aqsa, and questioned what Türkiye plans to do if these critical regions are lost.

Yılmaz emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that the United States has demonstrated its commitment to supporting Israel's expansionist agenda by threatening other regional powers, including Iran and Lebanon, and by giving Israel free rein to continue its occupation and aggression. "The burden on Gaza has become very heavy," Yılmaz reiterated, calling on the Turkish government to shoulder this burden by taking concrete, serious steps to support Gaza and to act decisively against Israeli aggression.

Yılmaz questioned whether the Turkish government has a plan to address the potential worsening of the situation, including the destruction of Al-Aqsa and the annihilation of Gaza. He referenced previous statements suggesting that "the defense of Anatolia begins in Gaza," and asked why, if this is the case, the government is still hesitating to take action. "What are we waiting for? Why this silence? Why this hesitant attitude?" he asked, urging the government to reconsider its current approach.

Yılmaz concluded by warning that Türkiye's current stance could have serious repercussions for the country itself, as well as for future generations and the broader Islamic world. He called on the government to align with other Islamic nations and to develop a comprehensive plan to prevent further escalation in Gaza. "Everyone should see that turning a blind eye to this issue will only bring harm to this country, to our future generations, and to the Islamic world," Yılmaz stated, emphasizing the need for immediate and decisive action in the face of ongoing violence and oppression.
