Explosion in China kills 3 people, 2 missing

The event happened inside a new material company’s workplace at Ningdong Energy Chemical Industry Base at 2:38 p.m.

The open flames at the location were completely extinguished by 3:35 p.m., according to local sources.

The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
