Uzbek Prime Minister arrives in Kabul for bilateral trade summit

Abdullah Aripov, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, arrived in Kabul today, leading a high-level delegation to participate in the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Bilateral Trade and Commerce Summit.

Upon his arrival at Kabul International Airport, Aripov was warmly received by senior Afghan officials, including Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Nooruddin Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Mawlawi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce.

The two-day summit, aimed at strengthening economic ties between the neighboring nations, will feature a comprehensive exhibition showcasing a wide array of products and goods from the Republic of Uzbekistan. This exhibition, which will also be inaugurated during the summit, highlights the deepening commercial relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

The event is expected to serve as a platform for discussions on enhancing trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries, further solidifying their bilateral relationship. (ILKHA)
