In a press statement, Hamdan clarified, "I mentioned in my statements issued yesterday that due to the nature of the battle and the Zionist aggression, there are some difficulties, but communication is permanent and achieves the desired interests."

Hamdan emphasized that despite some delays due to heightened security measures, the leadership of Hamas remains in regular and effective contact with Sinwar.

Addressing ongoing ceasefire negotiations and a potential prisoner exchange deal, Hamdan stated: "The general principles of the initiative were based on a ceasefire."

He further noted that Hamas has informed mediators that any upcoming meetings should focus on discussing implementation mechanisms and setting deadlines rather than renegotiating terms. "Otherwise, Hamas finds no reason to participate," he added.

This statement comes amid ongoing conflicts and negotiations in the region, where communication and strategic coordination remain crucial for Hamas's leadership. (ILKHA)
