The foundation has been providing consistent support to struggling families, offering both in-kind and cash assistance.

In addition to food aid, Umut Kervanı is planning to launch a stationery aid program for children from disadvantaged families ahead of the upcoming school year. The foundation is appealing for donations to support these initiatives.

Mehmet Emin Olgun, a board member of the foundation, emphasized the importance of the foundation's monthly food aid program and noted that the preparations for distributing food parcels to 600 families this month have been completed. These parcels include a variety of dry food and breakfast items.

Olgun also discussed the foundation’s "sibling family" program, which allows benefactors to sponsor a family’s monthly food needs for 750 TL. He expressed gratitude to those who have already contributed and encouraged more philanthropists to support the foundation’s ongoing activities.

In addition to the food aid, Olgun mentioned that the foundation is preparing to provide stationery supplies to students in need as the 2024-2025 academic year approaches. He called on benefactors to contribute to this effort, which aims to support children who are starting school.

"We are getting ready to meet the stationery needs of victimized and needy children in September. We invite those who wish to help or sponsor these children to get in touch with us. We are grateful to everyone who contributes, and may Allah bless them," Olgun added. (ILKHA)
