The ministry stated that numerous victims remain trapped under rubble or lying on roads following bombings in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to the ministry, the recent violence has brought the total death toll since the beginning of the Israeli bombardments on October 7 to 39,677, with 91,645 injured. The health ministry confirmed that at least 134 people, including the 24 deceased, have been transported to hospitals.
The ongoing conflict, triggered by a cross-border operation from Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades, has led to severe shortages in basic necessities such as food, fuel, water, and medical supplies for Gaza's 2.3 million residents. The Israeli blockade and widespread destruction of infrastructure have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis. (ILKHA)
