Israeli forces kidnap 25 Palestinians in the West Bank in past 24 hours

The detentions occurred primarily in the governorates of Hebron and Ramallah, with additional arrests reported in Nablus, Bethlehem, and Jenin. Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, approximately 9,955 Palestinians have been detained in the West Bank. This total includes individuals arrested at their homes, at military checkpoints, those compelled to turn themselves in under duress, and individuals held as hostages.

The statement highlighted that the reported figures exclude detainees from Gaza, where the number of imprisoned individuals is also believed to be in the thousands.

The statement also condemned the widespread abuse associated with these detentions, including physical assaults, threats, and the destruction of homes. (ILKHA)
