Erdoğan expressed outrage over what he described as immoral displays during the Paris Olympic Games, asserting that religious and moral values were ridiculed under the guise of freedom of expression.

He emphasized that such actions offend both Muslims and Christians and called for a unified stance against them.

The Turkish President also highlighted the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, accusing Israel of committing genocide and massacres with support from certain countries.

Erdoğan condemned the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and attacks on Lebanon, labeling Israel as a threat to regional and global stability.

He urged Pope Francis to engage with countries supporting Israel to halt the violence and seek lasting peace.

Pope Francis thanked President Erdoğan for his commitment to peace and sensitivity toward the desecration of religious values. (ILKHA)
