Glass, known for his work with Newsweek, ABC TV, and The Telegraph, was informed by authorities on July 31 that his visa was cancelled and given five hours to leave the country. The incident occurred after he was seen outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi with Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan.

Law enforcement, led by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), arrived at the residence of journalist Zahid Hussain, where Glass was staying. The ASP offered to help Glass collect his luggage and directed him to a flight to Abu Dhabi.

Former aide to Khan, Shahzad Akbar, mentioned the deportation on social media. While sources suggest Glass’s visa was cancelled due to his attempt to interview Khan, local police denied any involvement. (ILKHA)
