Speaking to Ilke News Agency (ILKHA), Kurtaran stated that these claims are part of a "dirty perception operation" by Israel and assured that humanitarian aid is successfully being delivered to Gaza.
"Since October 7, there has been a significant attack on Gaza by Israel," Kurtaran said. "Israeli invaders used disproportionate force. Our brothers and sisters in Gaza are being martyred daily by these attacks. As the Hope Caravan, we rushed to aid our brothers there from the first day. We endeavored to ensure that the aid we received from philanthropists reaches our brothers and sisters quickly and heals their wounds."
Kurtaran detailed the types of aid provided, highlighting the urgent needs due to the winter season. "In the first days, we especially provided food, hot meals, and blankets. After October 7, they needed shelter, tents, ambulances, and medical supplies, and we delivered them."
He emphasized that the notion of aid not reaching Gaza is false and part of a larger propaganda effort by Zionists. "Especially in recent days, there is an attempt to create a perception that 'aid is not being delivered and aid is not going', which has been shared a lot on social media. We, especially as the Hope Caravan, say that the aid is reaching its destination. This propaganda is made by Zionists to prevent aid from reaching our brothers and sisters."
Kurtaran assured that the Hope Caravan is efficiently delivering aid to partner organizations in Gaza. "We can easily deliver the aid of our benefactors today to our partner organizations there the next day. We are trying to be a balm for our brothers and sisters there. We especially want our brothers and sisters to be vigilant in this regard."
He described the dire situation in Gaza, especially in the Rafah region and the north. "We see in the images reflected in the media; we have martyrs dying of hunger. This is increasing day by day. We are able to distribute bread, hot food, and water quickly. We provide hot meals daily without interruption. We distribute bread and clean water in tankers every day."
To assure donors, the Hope Caravan also sends videos of the donations reaching Gaza. "Even though there is a war environment in Gaza, we do this to break the negative perception and in response to the Zionist attack. The aid is reaching our brothers and sisters there. The aids you have sent are helping their troubles. It is a step taken to save them from starvation, so do not stop your aid."
Kurtaran reiterated the importance of continued support and denounced the perception created by Zionists as another form of attack. "Aid is reaching Gaza. Our benefactors should deliver their aid to us without interruption. We are delivering these aids to our brothers and sisters there and hopefully will be a cure for their troubles. May Allah be pleased with all benefactors."
The Hope Caravan Foundation continues to call for sustained support to alleviate the suffering in Gaza, ensuring that all donations are effectively used to meet urgent needs on the ground. (ILKHA)
