Local sources reported that several civilians were killed and others injured late last night when Israeli forces targeted a populated house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City. The attack resulted in the deaths of several individuals, although the exact number of casualties has not been confirmed.
In a separate incident, five people, including three children, were killed in Israeli strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp. The strikes have caused significant destruction and added to the mounting civilian toll in the region.
Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted locations in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza and the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central region of the enclave. The continued bombardment has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with rescue teams struggling to reach affected areas.
Since the onset of the Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023, local health authorities have documented 38,011 Palestinian fatalities and 87,445 injuries. The escalating violence has drawn international concern and calls for a ceasefire to prevent further loss of life. (ILKHA)
