Hebrew radio sources reported that two of the injured were soldiers in the Israeli occupation army, with one in serious condition who later succumbed to his injuries. Hebrew Channel 11 confirmed the soldier's death following the fatal stabbing.
Israeli Channel 14 stated that the stabbing occurred on the second floor of a mall in Karmiel. The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) received reports of the stabbing incident involving a suspect, resulting in one serious injury and one slight injury.
The IOF announced that "the perpetrator was neutralized" by forces heavily deployed at the incident site. The attacker was identified by the Israeli website Hadashot Bazman as being from Deir al-Assad in the Upper Galilee.
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine praised the attack, calling it a "heroic resistance operation" and reiterating that resistance is the only option for Palestinians in the face of what they describe as Israeli genocide and brutal crimes against humanity.
This incident follows a wave of violence in June, where three Jewish settlers were killed and 25 soldiers and settlers injured in 356 resistance operations. (ILKHA)
