Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced these operations, which were conducted in response to violations related to entry into ports in occupied Palestinian territories.
The first operation struck the Israeli ship MSC Unific VI in the Arabian Sea, followed by an attack on the US oil tanker Delonix in the Red Sea. Subsequent operations targeted the British cargo ship Anvil Point in the Indian Ocean and the Lucky Sailor ship in the Mediterranean Sea.
According to the Yemeni Armed Forces, these actions are part of ongoing efforts to lift the blockade on Gaza, with vows to continue operations until their objective is achieved. Last week, similar attacks targeted vessels affiliated with Israel and the United States in the Mediterranean and Red Seas, involving collaboration with the Islamic groups in Iraq. The operations utilized suicide drones and anti-ship ballistic missiles.
The Yemeni people and their armed forces have expressed strong solidarity with the Palestinian cause, asserting a direct threat to ships and companies supporting the Israeli occupation. Future plans include expanding operations to target traffic into major Israeli-occupied ports, in coordination with Iraqi Resistance factions. (ILKHA)
