According to local sources, an Israeli warplane targeted the guard room at the main eastern gate of the UNRWA headquarters in the Tal al-Hawa area, southwest of Gaza City. The attack resulted in five fatalities, with some victims being dismembered, and seven injuries, including children and women. The injured were transported to Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

This incident is part of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023. The conflict has led to the deaths of more than 37,551 Palestinians and injuries to 85,911 others. The casualty numbers continue to rise as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble.

The relentless assaults by land, sea, and air have devastated Gaza, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. (ILKHA)
