At least 17 dead, dozens injured in latest Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Continued Israeli airstrikes targeting populated areas across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 17 civilians and injured dozens more, according to medical sources.

In central Gaza, Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing two civilians and injuring 12 others. Additional injuries were reported following tank shelling in the nearby Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps.

In Deir al-Balah, one person was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting the city.

In the Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, eight people were killed, and several others were injured in an Israeli strike on a house. The victims were taken to the Al-Ahli Al-Arabi Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

Rescue teams recovered the bodies of three children and their mother from the Al-Rai family from the rubble of their home in Nuseirat refugee camp, which was bombed two days prior.

In Khan Yunis, south of the enclave, three people, including Mahmoud Najjar and his son Adel, were killed when an Israeli army drone attacked a location in the Fakhari neighborhood. The victims were transported to the Gaza European Hospital.

Local sources also reported that the Israeli occupation army demolished residential buildings in the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah City.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7th last year, there have been 37,431 documented Palestinian casualties, with 85,653 injured, the majority being children and women. Many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with rescue and medical teams unable to reach them. (ILKHA)
