According to reports, Coast Guard teams deployed to the scene discovered 26 irregular migrants, including women and children, stranded on two life rafts.

"The teams rescued 26 irregular migrants, including women and children," stated officials.

Following the rescue operation, the migrants were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for further processing and assistance.
