During the Eid al-Adha festivities, Avrupa Yetim Eli (European Orphan Hand) conducted a large-scale sacrifice organization in various regions of Afghanistan. Hundreds of sacrificial animals were slaughtered in accordance with Islamic procedures, ensuring hygienic conditions. The meat was then carefully packaged and distributed to thousands of poor, orphaned, and needy families.

The initiative aimed to bring the joy of Eid to families living in poverty, with a particular focus on orphaned children. Ömer Tanrıverdi, a European Orphan Hand volunteer, expressed his happiness in being able to share in the Eid celebrations with the Afghan community. "We slaughtered the sacrifices delivered to us through the European Orphan Hand with the permission of God. We delivered them to those in need," Tanrıverdi said.

He highlighted the dire conditions faced by many in Afghanistan, noting that even madrasa students often struggle to find enough food. "Afghanistan is another world. You cannot imagine it without coming and seeing it," Tanrıverdi added, urging more support for the region.

The sacrificial meat distribution by European Orphan Hand provided much-needed relief and helped spread the joy of Eid al-Adha among some of the most vulnerable populations in Afghanistan. (ILKHA)
