Last night and early Wednesday, the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip witnessed significant casualties, with at least 11 people killed and dozens injured after Israeli warplanes bombed several homes in al-Maghazi camp.

Medical teams also recovered two bodies and treated several injuries from a targeted house in Abu al-Ajen area southeast of Deir al-Balah, hit by artillery shelling.

In Al-Bureij camp, two citizens were killed and several others injured due to the targeting of a house owned by the Al-Dawli family near the camp's entrance.

Seven people were injured in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, as Israeli airstrikes hit a house owned by the Dalloul family.

Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted neighborhoods in Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin in Gaza City, accompanied by heavy gunfire. Quadcopter military drones also opened fire near 20th Street, east of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Further south in Rafah, the Israeli artillery fired shells at residential neighborhoods and eastern areas of the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis.

Medical sources report that the death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 36,550 reported Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 82,959 individuals sustaining injuries.

Rescue and emergency teams face challenges in accessing affected areas, with fears of hundreds more buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings. The number of victims is expected to rise as search and rescue efforts continue amidst the ongoing violence. (ILKHA)
