Turkish presidential cabinet to convene in Ankara

The Presidential Cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is set to meet today at 3 pm local time at the Beştepe presidential complex in Ankara.

The meeting's agenda includes critical issues such as the situation in Gaza, the economic condition of the country, and cross-border military operations.

High on the agenda is the evaluation of the latest developments in Gaza. The Cabinet is expected to discuss ceasefire initiatives and humanitarian aid efforts aimed at addressing and ending the Zionist aggression in the region.

Economic concerns will also be a major focus, with discussions planned on inflation, foreign trade, excessive price increases, and stockpiling. The Cabinet will evaluate measures to enhance public sector efficiency and implement savings strategies.

Additionally, the meeting is anticipated to address the potential extension of the Eid al-Adha holiday, which currently spans from June 16 to 19. An extension to a nine-day holiday is under consideration.

The 9th Judicial Package, nearing its final stages of preparation, is another key topic on the meeting's agenda.
