Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the YAF, announced that the Rocket Force and Navy executed a composite strike on the aircraft carrier using multiple anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles. Saree asserted that the missiles achieved direct and precise hits on the USS Eisenhower.

This strike was a direct response to a series of 13 airstrikes carried out by the US and UK, which targeted both civilian and military areas across Yemen, resulting in 58 casualties.

Among the casualties, 16 people were killed and 41 injured, including both civilians and military personnel, in the city of Hodeidah alone.

Saree emphasized that the YAF would continue to retaliate immediately to any further aggressions on Yemeni soil by targeting American and British assets in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

Furthermore, Saree reiterated the commitment of the YAF to their "religious, moral, humanitarian obligations toward the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip," stating that US-UK actions would not deter them from this mission. (ILKHA)
